Project Description
Taksim-Kabataş Funicular system has integrated the Istanbul Subway, Kabataş IDO boat, ferryboat and sea-bus station and other transportation systems and enabled to transport people from the airport to Taksim Subway and ports like Kabataş and Beşiktaş which are extensively used in sea transportation.
The complete electrical works of the line which is 600 mt long and has a passenger capacity of 9.000 passenger/hour has been finished. The scope covers the material supply of MV-cubicles, transformers, UPS, LV-panels, fire resistant and gas free power cables and power distribution, lighting and power sockets, earthing installations, communication system, emergency announcement system, master clock system and CCTV system and installation works, tests, commissionin and hand over to the Istanbul Municipality.
