Electrical Works of TV Tower in Ashgabat

The project which will be bull 800 meters from the Askhabad-Goktepe highway and 1.020 meters from the sea level, is 211 meters in height. The indoor consturuction site consists of 54.000 m2 and the surrounding arrangements consist of 50.000 m2. The tower has viewing terraces at 100 and 150 meters, a restaurant at 135 meters a VIP lounge al 140 meters and a revolving restaurant which fits 100 people at 145 meters. The project also Includes 20 large studios. 10 medium and 10 small studios, about 100 editing labs and 10 broadcasting studios. There are rooms, offices, exhibition and conference rooms, a child entertainment center, cultural resting areas as well as teleradio broadcasting, satellite and radio communication and rooms for technical equipments of the meteorology department. TV broadcasting and communication antennas will be placed at the highest peek of the tower. An underground parking structure with 200 car capacity, storage rooms for decorations, electrical rooms and other technical-help rooms will also be included to the project.

Novatek scope includes partial material supply and installation of 6 transformers of total 13,2 MVA, 12 MV cubicles, dynamic UPS, power, lighting, safety and telecom systems. There shall be around 190km of power cables and 5 km of busbars for the power distribution. The other main Items can be summarized as 7.000 lighting fixtures, 15km cable trays, 2300 fire alarm points, 1500 speakers, 144 cameras, 2400 voice & data points, 250 km data and communication cables, MATV, master clock systems.
