Project Description
Turnkey electrical works of new terminal building of 150.695 m2 area, 8 million passenger capacity, having 86.350m2carpark and 16 fixed passenger bridges have been realized by BNJV, a Novatek and Berksan joint venture company. The new terminal building is operational since 1st May 2015.
The Project includes the construction of a new terminal building, rehabilitation and upgrading of the airside infrastructure including the extension of the runway, construction of a new taxiway and apron system. Expansion works also calls for the construction of ancillary buildings including 6 Hajj Pavillions, Main Aerodrome Rescue & Fire Fighting Building, AGL Substations, housing complexes, Mosque, O&M Building, Sewage Treatment Plant, District Cooling and Ministry of Hajj Buildings, of total 32.000 sq.mts. The total installed power is 32 MVA.
